Such standards ensure smooth integration of the various transportation means encompassed by the system, which thus afford a speedy and safe commute. These works and the investments made therein are imbued with a major societal dimension that seeks the common good. They are both geared towards the advancement of living conditions for the lower income population, which makes great use of our public transportation

Metro de Medellín currently offers 3 lines with Metrocable technology:

Line K stations include Andalucía, Popular, and Santo Domingo, where cable cars connect back to Metro lines.
Line J spans 2.9 kilometers (~1.8 miles) in the western part of Medellín. It connects with the rest of the Metro system at the San Javier station; customers may transfer here without paying an additional amount. Line J stations include Juan XXIII, Vallejuelos, and La Aurora, where cable cars are redirected towards the Metro lines.
Line L spans 4.6 kilometers (~2.9 miles) between the Santo Domingo transfer station and El Tambo district, where you will find the second and final station on this line. This is Metro’s first tourist line, which will commence operations with 27 cable cars. These works will have a positive influence on the Santa Elena area and some neighborhoods of Comuna 1, such as Santo Domingo Savio, La Esperanza, and La Avanzada.
